Andres Jimenez Ramirez
University of Seville

Brief Bio
Andres Jimenez-Ramirez is lecturer and researcher at the University of Seville, Spain. In 2014, he obtained his Ph.D degree in Computer Science. His research focuses on intelligent techniques for business process management and flexible business processes, hereby combining different disciplines, amongst which constraint programming, imperative and declarative business process modeling, and planning and scheduling. His current research interests are related to decision support systems applied to flexible business processes. Andres has published his research at international journals and conferences like Data and Knowledge Engineering, Information and Software Technology, Journal of Web Engineering or CAiSE. He is a member of the IWT2 Group at the University of Seville.

The evolution and development of information systems and management systems for Web are clearly important in the last years. In addition, the complexity and needs of a higher quality of this kind of system are growing. Consequently, advanced mechanisms are needed to improve the development of these systems and improve the quality of the whole process. Research groups have worked in proposing new methods, techniques and tools to achieve these goals. Model-driven engineering (MDE) is a well-known paradigm to be used applying advanced techniques (Especially in web environments where is known as MDWE). This workshop is oriented to offer a site to discuss advanced techniques, new tendencies, experiences of MDE applied on Web environments, including advances in tools and enterprise experiences.

Topics of Interest

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
  • Advanced MDE for Web Information System Development
  • Advanced MDE for Web Information System Design
  • Advanced MDE for Testing Support
  • Advanced MDE for Cost Reduction
  • Advanced MDE for Quality Assurance
  • Advanced MDE for Business Process Management MDE & Blockchain
  • Advanced MDE for Human-Computer Interaction
